7 models compared, one consensus

Weather you can actually trust.

Instead of one forecast, Climify shows seven independent weather models side by side, ranks them by how accurate each has really been for your city, and gives you a consensus you can plan around.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Is Climify free?

Yes — completely. There's no account, no sign-up, and no paywall. Climify runs entirely in your browser against the free, open Open-Meteo APIs.

How is model accuracy calculated?

For each city we take what each model predicted over the last 30 days and compare it against what actually happened (the ERA5 reanalysis archive). The mean absolute error on daily high temperature ranks the models. The full method is on the Methodology page.

Which weather models do you compare?

Seven independent global and regional models: ECMWF IFS (Europe), GFS (NOAA/USA), ICON (DWD/Germany), GEM (Environment Canada), ARPEGE/AROME (Météo-France), JMA (Japan), and UKMO (UK Met Office) — plus a blended consensus reference.

Do I need to create an account?

Never. Climify has no login and stores nothing about you. Your saved cities and unit preferences live only in your own browser.

How often is the data updated?

Live conditions and forecasts are fetched fresh from Open-Meteo every time you open a city. Climate normals and the accuracy backtest are refreshed periodically and baked into each city page.
